Annual multi-trip: Covers multiple trips within one year, with a total of up to 183 days across all your trips. You can purchase your annual multi-trip policy up to 60 days before your policy start date.

You can get cover for up to 45 days per trip. If you want to stay longer, you can add the optional extra ‘Extended Stay’ to increase your maximum trip length to 55 days per trip.

If you're aged 71 or over and travelling to the USA, Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean, the maximum length for each trip is 35 days, and the ‘Extended Stay’ optional extra is not available.

So you have flexibility, you can buy your annual multi-trip policy up to 60 days before you want the policy to start. Please note, there will be no cover for any claims until the start date of your policy, nor for any trips that started prior to you purchasing a policy.

UK citizens who are staying for more than 90 days in every 180 days in any country in the Schengen Area must have a visa to enter the zone. EU law requires anyone applying for a Schengen visa to have travel insurance for all countries included in the zone.

Do any of the travellers have pre-existing medical conditions?

You musttell us if you have a pre-existing medical condition, your policy may be invalid if you do not.

You must answer ‘Yes’ to this question if anyone to be insured under this policy has:

  • In the last two years, taken any prescribed medication or received medical treatment or advice at a hospital, clinic, GP surgery or via remote consultation.
  • Received or been offered palliative care.
  • Been advised of a terminal illness.

We cannot provide cover for some conditions and not for others you choose not to include in your declaration to us or where your (or their) state of health is worse than you have told us.
